Roslyn Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir 2006

The long, finely balanced is similarly complex, and floods the mouth with varietal fruit. An exceptionally stylish wine with great texture and structure, and that unmistakeable Tasmanian acidity running through the very finish.

This is a lovely pinot showing the fragrance and flavours of intense black cherry, spice and subtle smoke on an elegantly refined palate. There's a balanced harmony of flavours and texture, just a lick of oak and, while good drinking now, there are enough firm tannins and cool-climate backbone to see it hold and improve over the mid term."

Coldstream Hills Pinot Noir 2007

Deep red-purple; deep and powerful bouquet with a base of dark plum, spice and briar. The aromatics will progressively develop with further bottle age, gaining an even further seductive perfume. Complex and mouthfilling palate dominated by plum, with underlying touches of cherry and raspberry in a cradle of evenly distributed tannins, which start to make their presence felt mid-palate and run through to the hallmark long finish.
