Featured Wine: Seifried winery Sauvignon Blanc 2006 Aromatic and fresh Sauvignon Blanc flavours were encouraged prior to vintage through careful canopy management. The fruit was de-stemmed and pressed immediately after harvest, and a cold fermentation was initiated in stainless steel tanks to retain the clean aromatic fruit characters. Fresh, lively and overflowing with flavour, the nose is intensely varietal and speaks straight from the vineyard. Clean fruit is overlaid with tropical passionfruit and pineapple on the palate. The citrusy acidity on the wines backbone gives a refreshing tang. A delicious Sauvignon Blanc with layers of fruit and minerality, reflective of the soil. on which it was grown.
