Frontier's monthly wine dinners are currently open to anyone in Melbourne and Sydney who wants to enjoy a wonderful evening sampling exclusive boutique Australian wine.
Frontier holds a range of dinners throughout the year at restaurants that offer a variety of different food styles. These restaurants are carefully selected for their quality of food, venue, location and service.
The dinners are a relaxed but informative event which cater for numbers between 20 - 40 people. It is our aim to delight and entertain. Participants will learn about the wines themselves, the industry in general and receive useful tips regarding buying, storing and serving wine.
All wines presented are available for purchase at the end of the evening with wine deliveries completed usually within the following week.

Anvers Wines The Warrior" Shiraz 2005
2005 The Warrior Shiraz
The 2001 Anvers Reserve Shiraz, the inaugural
release, and the 2002 Anvers Reserve Shiraz
received wine show success and critical acclaim
both in Australia and overseas. From vintage
2003 our Reserve Shiraz has been renamed The
Warrior and while the name and the packaging
are new, the superlative quality of the Anvers
Reserve Shiraz has been retained.
As Anvers prestige cuvée, The Warrior uses our
best parcels of Shiraz selected from vintage
2005. These wines were matured for 21 months
in oak, at which point the best balance of oak,
fruit, tannin and structure was achieved. From
these Reserve parcels a further selection process
is made to assemble the components into a final
wine that provides a combination of flavour
intensity with structure and grace. The 2005
Anvers Warrior combines the elegant, spicy
nuances of Adelaide Hills Shiraz with the rich,
powerful flavours of McLaren Vale Shiraz.
Tasting Notes
Vibrant crimson red in colour. Pretty blueberry
fruit aromas in the company of dark spice,
espresso and mineral notes. On the palate a
combination of dark plum and prune fruits are
complimented by chocolate, anise and black
pepper accents. The long finish is supported by
firm yet silky tannins and a crisp acidity.
Best from 2008 to 2016.
